My Story
I didn’t start out as a life coach. For years, I was in corporate finance in Hong Kong—good salary, solid title, the whole package. Thing is, I noticed something odd. The smartest people I worked with were struggling. Not with spreadsheets or financial models. They were struggling with motivation, with clarity on what they actually wanted, with the confidence to make real changes.
One colleague in particular stands out. She was brilliant—MBA from a top school, promoted twice in five years. But in our one-on-one conversations, she kept saying the same thing: “I’m successful on paper, but I feel lost.” That stuck with me. Here’s someone with all the technical skills you could want, and the real barrier wasn’t ability. It was mindset.
That’s when I decided to change direction. I pursued formal certification through the International Coach Federation and earned my Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Hong Kong. I wanted to understand what actually drives change—not just theoretically, but practically. How do real people shift their thinking? What makes a goal actually stick versus become another New Year’s resolution?
Over the past 14 years, I’ve worked with over 8,000 professionals across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
